February in photos

Remember how last month I said I was going to just give you a photo update without the commentary? Ha! That ship has sailed. I just have waaaay too much to tell you guys!

February was a really really exciting & fun month for us. Girls weekend, puppy visits, beach time. Oh yea, and I became a WIFE!! Here's a sneak peak at what went on, but I'll do a full blow by blow post once we have the photos back from the photographer in a couple of weeks.

It was actually the best day ever!

I went on our annual girls weekend to Matarangi with some of the girls from Josh's family. We talked, laughed explored, ate & drank way too much and had an amazing time. Please book a girls weekend with your friends. They're so good for you!

  

And we jumped...so much fun!

Another one of our hens went broody, so we've decided to start taking advantage of that and now we just buy fertile eggs and sit her on them! Now we're waiting patiently for little chicks to appear!

As usual at this time of year the farm is looking very dry. Don't tell Josh's dad, but I think it's beautiful when it's like this!

And the second most exciting thing that happened. We visited our friends who had puppies and we're taking one home!!! I'm picking her up today after work...I'm SO excited! More photos to come.

And then a bunch of other random stuff happened, including cooking lots of Vietnamese food, finding a baby bird in my corn and Ben & Jerry's, also know as my FAVOURITE ice cream in the world opening up shop in NZ. Yasssss!! {insert heart eyed emoji here}

 

Aaaand now I'm sad that summer is almost over but super excited for beautiful autumn days. And my puppy!
