I would like to state for the record though that this is not a drink that should be solely saved for occasions when you can not chew. This is a milkshake for any day!

Creamy, chocolatey banana & nutella milkshake...yum!

But I'd also like to state that this is in no way, shape or form healthy. I considered calling it a smoothie but I feel like the word smoothie is kind of associated with things that are good for you. Very misleading. This is a straight up creamy, chocolatey treat. Except for the banana...semi healthy! Which makes me think it's ok to have for breakfast. But don't be taking advice from me...this is the girl who eats chocolate for dinner in the car on the way home late from work on a Tuesday and follows it up with wine. I'm such a responsible adult.

Creamy, chocolatey banana & nutella milkshake...yum!

Creamy banana and vanilla ice-cream paired with the chocolatey hit that comes from nutella and this is a dream come true. The trick is to plan ahead and freeze the banana slices for a couple of hours before making - this creates a super creamy texture. If you need this milkshake now though, fresh banana will be fine.

Throw it all into a blender, blend until smooth and there it is...so dreamy! If you're trying to be good you could substitute the ice-cream for ice-cubes - it will be less creamy and more icy but also less calorific...not that we are worried about that...it's Friday!!

I love it that this is shamelessly unhealthy Laura! Bring on the nutella, I say! 🙂

Hehehe I would definitely have to go the ice cream version! Love this! Nutella is such a big weakness of mine. Thanks for linking up with our Fabulous Foodie Fridays party. xx
