    November Round-Up

Published: Dec 9, 2015 · Modified: May 26, 2020 by Laura · This post may contain affiliate links.

November aka my second favourite month of the year aka the month before things get craaaaay-zy!!

We hatched babies under a real live hen! No artificial incubation - this was for real! After we had 3 hens go broody we decided it was time to put them to the test. This one passed with flying colours.

    November (10)

We went away for a girls weekend to Whangamata, my fav beach in the world and road-tripped all the way up the Coromandel coast to Cathedral Cove.

    November (8)

We stopped at this winery on the way. If you're driving around Hahei, do it! The guy that works there is hilarious and the pizza was out of this world! Oh, and the liqueurs!

    November (6)

    November (4)

    November (5)

We ate cheese & crackers for every meal, drank loads of wine and our nails got Jamberried! We had the most perfect almost summer weather, and then I got home to this. What the??

The next weekend was MA BIRTHDAY!!! HB to me. I had the best day hanging at home while Josh had to work but it was fun. My mumma and sis & Josh's parents came for dinner and it was a greaaat day.

And then as if that already wasn't exciting enough for us country folk we went to the real big smoke, not just our little city. Wellington, to see the Rocketman himself. What. A. LEGEND!!

    November (11)

    November (12)

We also went to Te Papa Museum, explored Cuba Street & the underground markets and had the best dang waffles of my life at Sweet Mother's Kitchen. Waffles & fried chicken. Um, weirdest but best combination I've ever had in my life. SO GOOD! If you're ever in Wellington, go there!

    November (14)

    November (13)

    November (9)

So suddenly it's summer, nearly Christmas and only 2 months TIL THE WEDDING!!! EEEEK!

Looks like you had a lot of fun on your travels, Laura! OMG you are getting married in 2 months! I did read this in another one of your posts but can't remember if I congratulated you or not. If I didn't, CONGRATULATIONS! So happy for you. I love everything to do with weddings and (confession!) am so eager to get married myself, so can't wait to hear about/see pics of yours on the blog! I'm still trying to convince my own man to become a little keener on the idea but in the meantime I can just keep dropping hints, I guess! 😉

So much fun!! OMG I know!! I can't believe it's come around so fast, I'm so excited!! We are going for a pretty casual beachy wedding which has gone down well with Josh...he's allowed to wear jandals so he's excited too! Keep dropping those hints...and I can't wait to share all our photos after the wedding! 🙂
