Aside from doing a fabulous job farming our little block, Josh also works on his parents farm. Lambing is all done and dusted but this weekend marked the beginning of the calving season.
I love helping out on the farm in the weekends...especially when I get to check out these cuties! This little girl was only a few hours old when we saw her.
We tag their ears as early as possible - in a few days they will be racing around the paddock and will be impossible to catch. They look hilarious with their ear tags in - the tags are so huge in comparison to the calves! There were 3 calves by the end of the weekend and we're expecting a lot more in the next few days.
Seriously, look at that face! I just wanted to scoop them up, put them on the bike and take them home with me...and that is why I'm not the farmer!
