How to make Cold Brew Coffee
Prep Time
12 hrs 5 mins
  • 3/4 cup coarsley ground coffee beans*
  • 4 cups (1L) water
  1. Add the coffee and 1 cup of water to a large (8 cup) capacity coffee plunger/French press. Stir so that the coffee grounds are all wet. Add the remaining water, stir again and leave sitting on the bench for 12 hours.

  2. Carefully plunge/press the coffee and pour into a glass or plastic bottle and store in the fridge.

  3. Serve over ice with your choice of milk.

  4. Store in the fridge for 3 or 4 days.

Recipe Notes

* If you are grinding your own whole beans, leave them pretty coarse but you can also use plunger/espresso ground beans and they work just as well!
