In a saucepan add cornflour & sugar and whisk together. Add remaining ingredients and whisk again to combine.
Bring to the boil over a medium-high heat, stirring constantly until sauce bubbles and thickens - about 5 minutes. Add more water if the sauce is too thick.
Pour over cooked meat of your choice, and don't forget to add veges! Serve with white rice.
Notes
This sauce can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge for a few days until you are ready to use it.
