These simple 2 ingredient chocolate truffles are easy to make, super decadent and look impressive on any fruit or dessert platter! They also make a great homemade gift. Plus I've got 3 flavour ideas - dark chocolate, white chocolate & Bailey's truffles!
Heat the cream over the stove or in the microwave until almost boiling. Add the chopped chocolate and allow to sit for 5 minutes. Whisk together until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth. If the chocolate hasn't fully melted, put the mixture back in the microwave or over the stove until it has.
Refrigerate the mixture until is is firm enough to form into balls. This will take around 2 hours.
Form mixture into balls using your hands (about 1-2 teaspoons in size) and roll in toppings of choice (if using). Place truffles on a baking sheet or in a container lined with baking paper and store in the fridge until ready to serve.
Truffles can also be frozen, just ensure they are in a sealed container.
