Homemade Lemonade
This homemade lemonade syrup is the perfect summer drink. It takes 15 minutes to make and keeps in the fridge for weeks!

Ingredients

hot water

sugar

lemon juice
About 5 lemons

Zest of 3 lemons
To serve

Soda/sparkling/regular water
Instructions
Add hot water, sugar and lemon zest to a medium sized pot. Bring to the boil, stirring to dissolve the sugar, and simmer for 5 minutes.
Remove from the heat and stir in lemon juice. Strain through a sieve to remove the lemon zest and any pips that have made it in.
Allow to cool and store in the fridge for a couple of weeks.
To make lemonade mix 1 part lemonade to 3 parts water (regular, soda or sparkling)
