Chocolate Coconut Slice {aka chocolate fish slice!}
This chocolate coconut slice is a family favourite in our house. It has a chocolate & coconut base and chocolate condensed milk topping, it's easy to make and only takes 30 minutes!
Combine all ingredients for the base in a small bowl. Press into a 20cm/8 inch square brownie tin and bake for 12 minutes.
Topping
While the base is in the oven, melt the condensed milk and the butter in a small jug in the microwave or in a small pot on the stove.
Sift icing sugar & cocoa powder into the mixture and add coconut. Stir to combine.
Remove the base from the oven and immediately pour topping over. You may need to use a slightly wet knife or the back of a spoon to spread it over evenly.
Allow to set completely (a few hours) before slicing into 16 pieces.
Store in an airtight container for 1 week.
Notes
The slice will set at room temperature, however you can put it in the fridge to help it set faster.
